چکیده

This study was conducted to assess the species distributional range, structure, and regeneration status of G. copallifera Benn. A survey in over 30 villages communities where claims were made about presence this species. At four locations, pairs large plots measuring 500m x 20m laid out 400m apart each subdivided into ten (10) subplots (50m 20m). For studies (Seeds, seedlings saplings), quadrats 5m established subplot (giving a total 320 quadrats). 1,294 live individuals from 74 tree 12 lianas recorded, representing 61 genera 27 families. Guibourtia has highest dominance, followed by Nesogordonia papaveriefera (A. Chev.) Capuron ex N. Hallé., Memecylon normandii Jacq.-Fél. Gmelina arborea Roxb. Species such as Homalium africanum (Hook. f.) Benth. Lindackeria dentata (Oliv.) Gilg, Pentadesma butyracea Sabine. Santiria trimera Aubrév. recorded at low levels. Regarding family Leguminosae - Caesalpiniaceae scores highest, by Sterculiaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Melastomataceae Verbenaceae. The density regenerating varied significantly between based on amount degradation. spatial patterns examined exhibited clear relationships with disturbance intensity. Urgent action is needed conserve species, together other ecologically economically important before they are locally exterminated.

Sequence Variability and Geographic Distribution of Lassa Virus, Sierra Leone

Lassa virus (LASV) is endemic to parts of West Africa and causes highly fatal hemorrhagic fever. The multimammate rat (Mastomys natalensis) is the only known reservoir of LASV. The molecular masses of the PrPres moieties from the 2 cows were also clearly distinct from those from controls with Land H-BSE (Figure). For samples from animals with H-BSE, enzymatic deglycosylation demonstrated PrPres subtypes, 1 and 2, the latter being a C-terminal PrPres fragment of ≈12–14 kDa (6). To investigate whether the novel PrPres type corresponds to PrPres subtype 2, we compared sa...
